RARITY, UNIQUENESS

We are one of the only places in BC to publicly offer screenprinted event posters and such a wide array of band merchandise, as well as hand-printed serigraphs in limited-edition runs, for gallery exhibition and resale. This is an art, a craft, and a passion that is alive and well here in Sage Studios.

VALUES and INITIATIVES

We source out materials from as close as possible and that are manufactured with the highest content of RECYCLED and ORGANIC materials.

We screenprint all our posters and cards on a broad selection of 100% post-consumer recycled papers, with TW waterbased inks. Some of these choices include:

A wide range of Mohawk fine papers produced in a wind-powered facility.

Chipboard - which is recycled and then re-used again as backing for other paper stocks before reaching us

and one of our favourites – good old kraft paper.

Great care is taken to ensure that there is minimal ink loss and the rags are re-used and then laundered for further re-use.

We support companies that employ the use of non-fossil fuel energies to run their operations and we do not purchase products or consumables from suppliers that do not meet or exceed our own social standards.

We are constantly researching new technologies in material production and energy systems, and we outsource all our digital and offset print jobs to the nation-wide leaders in greener printing.

Because we are so heavily involved in music, we spend our time learning about how to further our goals to become self-sustained, gigging musicians.......and we are happy to share that information with you.
